        • ESC in Szczecin

          European Solidarity Corps in Poland

          Who are we?

          Friends becoming home

Imagine that you are at a time in your life when you need a change, you want to grow as a person, travel, get to know other cultures and most importantly to help creating a better world. If these are your desires, we encourage you to do a voluntary work that will change the way you see the world.

We are 16 people full of ideas, dreams and a great desire to work for a more united society. Our countries are different, our customs often clash and become entangled like a spider's web until they form unbreakable bonds.

We are from Spain, Georgia, France, Belgium, Ukraine, Slovakia, Portugal, Italy and Germany and we work in Szczecin, Poland. We intend this blog to be a place to express ourselves, to tell our first-hand experience and so that if any young person wants to experience this adventure, do not hesitate to ask us for more information.

        • Blog - Our adventures during and after ESC

          Our coordinators

          #lovely_family

Kuba, Ewelina, Agnieszka and Agata support us in our daily life. Every volunteer has a coordinator. Kuba is responsible for kindergarten volunteers, Ewelina supports school volunteers, Agnieszka coordinates office volunteers and Agata takes care of our flats. They are very friendly and helpful.

          Our volunteers

          #crazy_people

Now we are 16 ESC volunteers from Georgia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Slovenia and Ukraine. We are working in three kindergartens in Szczecin, in one kindergarten in Stargard, in a school and in the POLITES office. We are here for 10 incredible months.

          Living conditions

          #sweet_home

We are accommodated in rented flats. Bills are mainly paid by POLITES Association. This year we live in 4 different flats with 4-6 people in each flat. Everyone has got their own room.

          Free time

          #live_laugh_love

Of course, we have a chance to travel and do any kind of leisure time activities that we want! It is also an important part of our project. Each month there are 2 days for us to use as days off. We also have two long breaks during Christmas and Easter holidays.
